DeYor Performing Arts Center tickets & upcoming events
If you're looking for a venue that combines charm, accessibility, and a touch of elegance, the DeYor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown is where it's at. Opened in 1984, this place has become a cultural hub for the community, offering everything from breathtaking ballet performances to lively concerts. One of the coolest features is the balcony’s steep incline, trust me, even those sitting in the last row get a clear view of the stage without craning their necks. The Dress Circle adds a fancy touch, but it’s also super practical, making sure everyone feels like they’re part of something special. Plus, the center’s been a partner with Youngstown State University since 2010, turning into a go-to spot for college events and graduations, talk about a multi-purpose marvel. If you’re coming from the train station, it’s just a quick ten-minute walk through a shady canopy of trees, perfect for a summer evening. They also host cool events like the Youngstown Glass Art Exhibition, which showcases the shimmering beauty of vitreous art, definitely a feast for the eyes. Whether you’re a concert junkie or just looking for a nice night out, the DeYor has got you covered with comfy seating options, from front-row thrills to budget-friendly seats. Honestly, it’s more than just a theater, it's a vibrant part of Youngstown’s soul, and I promise, you won’t leave disappointed.
